Yes, on my 2006 V6, was a brake light switch fault. There are two, one for cruise and other for brake lights and HDC. Worth getting codes read before wasting £35 though. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

I fixed mine with a new battery.
- low voltages caused no end of issues (till a replacement battery fixed them all). 2022 P440e AB

Actually - mine was warranty replaced after 18 or 24 months from new (mines as a 55 SC).

If the HDC fault happens after a cold night (or just in the mornings); or after a few days standing.... my bet is that its the battery. 2022 P440e AB

Thanks chaps, will look into a new battery then.

Can this be bought from ECP (or like) or does it need coding from main dealers?

Cheers

I did a search on ECP under my reg plate and it came up with this:

Bosch Battery (S5 Battery 019 5 Year Guarantee)
Part No.: 444770198
List Price £166.74
Was £140.40
Now £119.89 Save 15%
(Online and Click & Collect price only)

Anyone got this? Is it a matter of just swap out?

Cheers
