Morning all .... jus had my RRS 2010 serviced all tickity boo .... advised that rear tyres more worn than fronts ... no surprise ... but ... so is there any issue with chucking them on the front and evening out said wear ... as am after fitting 275-45s later

I've always done that so it would be news to me if that was inadvisable. I'm now running 275/45/20's and they're a lot comfier than the 275/40/20's that I ran for years. Mine are road/mud Cooper Zeons in case you wanted to see what I'm running

Rears are worn more than the fronts - right? Just checking I've got that the right way round (since fronts normally wear faster).

As long as they are worn evenly etc., then yes, it is in fact advisable to do so, in order to have the best tyres on the rear.  Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

I have a play every now and again soft offroad ... mates farm/byeways ... nuthin too extreme

The tread is quite aggressive but brilliant off road. Might be a bit more road noise than road tyre but not really discernible.
