The lower weight really shows, I agree. The new RRS is just starting to grow on me more, still not mad keen on the back but it is starting to make the Disco and the RRS 1 look square and dated now.

Gordon i had a go in one at a LR Experience day, i was very impressed with its capabilities even on standard footwear, then again the MY10's terrain settings are a leap above the MY06+ models. So assume a combination of improved weight and terrain response is making it an overall great package.. but a very expensive one compared to the previous model..
