Russia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

What would be nice is a RRS with Audi quality/interiors & now............... a whopping big V12TDI under the bonnet = PLEASE Very Happy

I would buy one... but I do hate Audis actually Very Happy so I hate their interior as well (though it is of course of better quality then rrs)....
So my perfect rrs would be with bentley arnage interior (or at least FFRR vogue interior) and Mercedes 5.5 litre Kompressor engine inside (500 bhp)... There is something wrong about diesel to my mind... - can you imagine a bentley with diesel?? I can't... Smile 2014 Mercedes-Benz S500

I know I'm only a D3 owner but I just don't understand this mentality of putting fast engines in high centre of gravity cars. Confused Can anyone explain?

Because I suppose the SUV has become pretty much a commodity and so to satisfy the car buying masses they manufacturers do what they do with all their other product lines.... and make "hot" versions. I know it's form vs function when it comes to the likes of LRs but I suppose car mfrs don't have the luxury of sticking to principles if it's going to lose them sales.

I think the V12 TDI may not make it to the Uk, but the diesel market is really hotting up here so you never know.

Merc are releasing the ML420 CDI and the GL420 CDI and they are 300bhp monster V8's. Merc have never released the V8 diesel on the UK market before, so definitely seems to be a growing market. I think the TDV8 soon to be out by LR lays testament to that fact and the interest its already generating.

I think the toureg V10 TDI would be the ultimate TDI monster for the UK roads, as biggles.. a recent convert to the V10 monster from a tdv6.. but would you spend that much money on a VW badge.. yes i know my RS4 is just a blinged up Vw Passat/Skoda Octavia, but still the badge goes a long way for residuals, so im happy!

I'm sorry but it's just too ugly for words, might go like stink, but I wouldn't put it on my drive.

A car has to look beautiful, you want other's to want it, everyone's going to see that and throw up.....sorry!

Maybe if I drove it I'd change my mind...............no I don't think I would!

I like what caz says.

I might also add that I believe there's only so much power you can put into a 4x4. I don't think the RRS would look nice whizzing around like the blue devil! Its a stately car.. you want to cruise along in it. And of course, you have enough reserve power to push it if and when you need to.

Some members said sometime back that after the initial euphoria of speeding, they now prefer to just cruise. Malaysia Boleh!

I've said too that the RRS has calmed my driving style somewhat. However, in a couple of months, 3 of my 6 points expire so I need to go back to driving a fast car so I can restore the status quo so to speak! Laughing

The only trouble is, you best make sure there's a petrol station down the road from those traffic lights otherwise it'll all end in tears Laughing
