I kind of agree with you Caz... it's funny how there's a few cars out there that are blinding drives yet don't look too great. Pig Turbo, this Q7, the Impreza WRX... your hubby's Evo 8 Wink

I don't care how fast it can go, or how much noise it produces, it is still one ugly vehicle. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

I agree with what you say about my hubby's Evo, it's the most horrid car to be a passenger in, rock hard ride, rubbish interior, but jump in the driver's seat and WOW knicker dropping performance.... if I do say so myself! Shocked Shocked Wink

I am off to buy an Evo Shocked Shocked Shocked

The thing about the Q7 is yes you could call it ugly but when you actually see one in the flesh it certainly has a presence, and I think anything that has that might grow on you in time.

Would I buy one

Naaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Why is the question. If you want something to be fast buy a sports car. None of these performance 4x4 can do the 4x4 bit with the exception of the RRS SC. To me the car is an estate car on big wheels. Why put up with the compromised handling if all you want is a fast estate car. If you want an off road car then buy a car that can go off road, if you then want a fast one buy a RRS SC.

I know I'm only a D3 owner but I just don't understand this mentality of putting fast engines in high centre of gravity cars. Confused Can anyone explain?

The RRS S/C looks sooooooooooo good - Period

This is what helps it sell so many - good looks alone. I doubt very much that most of the RRS's out there ever venture off the highway?????

No matter what engine/model - the RRS simply looks so much better - that's why it sells so well.

What would be nice is a RRS with Audi quality/interiors & now............... a whopping big V12TDI under the bonnet = PLEASE Very Happy
