Lovely car, but an infruriating rattle/buzzing somewhere on the front passenger side is driving me nuts (at 70 - 80 mph). A buzzing around the steering column from cold was fixed last week when it went in for service. These minor niggles are detracting from my ownership experience, and are new to me after 7 previous BMWs. And frankly, I don't think they should be expected on a £65k car.

Is it just mine, or do others have similar issues? And do other LR owners simply accept such things, or should I give it back to the dealer and tell them to keep it until its sorted?

One of the things I didn't like about the pre 2010 RRS was the poor quality of cabin materials and the odd rattle or buzz. I am sure the post 2010 interiors were better as the materials seem better. I have never had a rattle or a buzz on my BMWs. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

I sent mine back last week (well, I booked it in 3 weeks ago and that was the first slot they had...) for an annoying 'tizz' from the front passenger side. Turned out to be a loose wire for the heated front screen vibrating against the A pillar trim.

Rattle now gone...just got the go back to have the dirty finger marks removed. Oh well.
