Cheers that looks good. I have looked at these and they are my preferred choice, but I wanted someone's opinion of their fitment etc

Have a look at a Steelie. A small metal ball mount which sticks onto the dash and doesn't look like an obvious phone mount and a small magnetic disc on the back of your phone or phone case. Very discreet. I have one in my 10 year old Forester as I use the phone on speaker, no Bluetooth in that car |

Steelie looked like a great idea until I realised you'd need to have a metal barnacle permanently attached to your phone or case for it to work. Shame. |

I put mine on the dash mat in front of the sat nav. Get a 2005-2009 RRS (FAH500210) sat nav/dash mat here - the one that wasn't there when you bought the car.

Easy to fit with their "tool" (basically creates a small gap when inserted between the trim panels, enough to clip in the bracket).. and the phone holder is screwed onto the bracket (all holes and screws included). Here's mine in situ Cheers.. Ian |

All I can say is that I don't find the "barnacle" a problem in practice. I have 2 phones (one work one mine) I use the Steelie in the old Subaru, on the boat, on my iPad etc. |
