Tracking a Supercharged up the M6 yest..

Went to lancaster yesterday to drop my cousin off at uni, approached a 55 plate RRS SC black 55 plate on the m6 northbound late morning, and as he was just coasting along, I just applied a little pressure for him to move (was in the A8 3.0 TDI) and he floored it.. took me by surprise the first time, but he was a fun vehicle to follow, he was successfully scaring the crap out of everyone ahead and clearing the right hand lane of all the slow lane hoggers, this country seems to be littered with!

Thanks very much mate! didn't get away quite so quickly the second time, managed to get the car into a lower gear and ride the torque and stick with him! Very Happy Wink

Obviously not exceeding any speed limits or road regulations what so ever.. Smile Wink

Well i wasn't in the RS4.. so u know.. didn't embarrass him in his SC.. haha.. Laughing Wink Wink although, had some grief off some t**t in his blue disco 2, and i can't believe with that kind of weight and vehicle mass and slow brakes etc, he was driving so close behind me and all the other road users.. i gave him a taste of his own medicine though, and that made him back up a tad..

Don't u just love commuting in our glorious country! Glad i don't have to do it weekly anymore.. M5 north bound used to be my test facility in the 330d sport, once being followed, well escorted into swindon by two police patrol cars, after having a midnight dash with a clio 182 southbound on the A417/9 through cricklade on my way back to my house in swindon, think someone phoned us in, or there is a camera somewhere along there.. we were only doing 75 too.. sensitive them south westerners!!

Stuck it on cruise at 40 passed motorola and just had a T5 on my right wing and the lexus GS300 patrol car on my rear all the way into westlea.. quite nerving and the message got through to me.. calmed it a bit afte that!! Embarassed
