2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Java Black

Strange limited gears fault

Helo all,

Yesterday I was driving my TDV8 when I noticed that it had a little less poke than usual. Suddenly it was as if the engine braking came on and I pulled over, these faults appeared:

HDC fault
Limited gears available
the car also lowered to its lowest suspension settings

I turned the ignition off and restarted the car and all seemed fine, just not sure what could cause all 3 of these issues at the same time?

You need to get the fault codes read I'm afraid.

It's likely to be a brake system issue but could be anything from a brake pedal switch to a brake bulb. Could also be the alternator getting ready to die. Complex beasties these RRS. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
