Auto Headlights Sensitivity Adjustment?

Hi guys,

Just wondered if there is a way to adjust the sensitivity of the automatic headlights? I've been driving through some dark and rainy weather and the automatic headlights would only come on when the wipers were on, as soon as it stopped raining they turned off again!

Thanks Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

My 2013 model was supplied with a switch to the right of the steering wheel which enables me to turn the dipped beam on Whistle

I did turn them on manually, I was just surprised that the auto lights didn't think it was dark enough for them to come on. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

IMO auto lights are a complete pain. They never come on soon enough when you need them & always come on when you don't want them to e.g. under motorway bridges on roundabouts

Best just to forget the auto position and do it the old fashioned way
