I've got a 2 bob none LR warranty and I know I have to pay for the diagnostics, even if the fault is subsequently covered by the warranty. I wouldn't expect that from a LR warranty though. |

This comes up time and again but answer is always stock, if you don't want to do the job there will be someone else who will. This crap about dealers asking for £150 up front to plug computer in and phone you back to say its a this or that takes the p***. The labour charge for doing the job is covered in the factory times and this is just another scam along with oil disposal and seat covers.

You could well find that the bulbs and your suspension dashboard light problems are linked. Plenty on here about blown/fading brake bulbs causing all manor of gremlins throughout the car. Get those replaced (with genuine parts) first and see if things improve.

I had bushes and drop links replaced under the "Approved" (not "Select") Extended Warranty last year. |

The LR select policy doesn't cover bushes and.most other suspension parts. Had it on my previous RRS and it was a complete waste of money, they rejecred all my claims due to wear and tear.

The Select warranty replaced my rear diff a few months ago so it more than paid for itself... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
