Make sure you get "consequential damage cover" Think I paid about £1350 for 2 years with cover for consequential damage, sat nav and ICE cover, MOT failure cover and main dealer labour rate cover.

Might cost you a little more but get a health check from L/R and as its well under 5 yrs old you can get Approved warranty from them. MY 09TDV8 |

If it's any comfort, in 4 years mine has only needed a door lock mechanism, which went kaput about a month past it's warranty. An extended warranty would have cost me £6-800, so at the moment I am quids in (shouldn't have said that, tomorrow something will go bang )

Thanks codfather, think the peace of mind of 1 year makes sense at least until i know the vehicle better myself, tempted to go for the 2 year cover which WD are offering for £1050 making it just over £500 a year.
