Auxiliary Heater Smoke

I noticed that it dropped to 3 degrees this morning, therefore I thought that I'd point out to new owners, and remind some existing owners, about possible smoke.

Obviously, when in doubt use your own common sense, however it is likely that you Aux Heater will automatically activate soon due to the ambient temperature. Because it may be activating for the first time in 6+ months then the fuel in the fuel lines and the heater itself will be old, hence a bit of smoke the first activation of winter.

If it is genuinely on fire then ignore the above and call 999!

I pressed my remote ( about only good thing Fullfat has to offer) and was greeted by a yard full of smoke 10 mins later which had that heavy oil smell. So stale fuel now purged Rolling with laughter thanks for the heads up Bow down Bow down 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

I use mine all year round so no smoke, I rang mine and used it this morning for the first time because of the lower temps and when I got in the car it was lovely and warm with the fans blowing nice warm air ..

I played with my FBH a few weeks ago using my IIDTool so hopefully the FBH doesn't have old fuel left in it... Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Within minutes the blackvue shut down so knew it was hammering the battery then 15 mins the warning came on to start engine or shutting down - good job I bought a CTEK Rolling Eyes
