Thumbs Up agree with Paddi - The sensors are cheap enough - if you know the right person Whistle looms can be purchased from Powerful UK or other suppliers relatively cheap - the bumper will need sensor locaters - plastic welding or gluing to the inside to hold the sensors in place ( 4 should cost no more than £10 from the local LR dealer ) the bumper take off can be a pain - the bolts underneath tend to snap. The rest should be a stroll in the park for the likes of Bodsy & Flack Very Happy
I do stand by what I said before they do need to look factory fitted Thumbs Up Good luck. Pm me if you need sensors Wink 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Agreed, needs to look OEM or you will devalue the car! Would definitely be easiest to find an HSE bumper if you can!

Would agree to finding an HSE bumper as the holes will be there. The sensor holders can be bought reasonably cheaply and then you will need the better front loom with the sensors and fog light wires.

Should be a straight forward job. I like having them. Helps make getting into/out of tight spaces much easier.

I would seal the connectors with a water repelant silicone or similar as water ingress can happen and will cause a headache when they don't work.

Hi all
New member here but have been lurking for a while. Great resource so hoping I can become a part of that.

In the meantime I pick up my 2010 RRS this weekend and I want to gauge peoples opinion re the parking sensors.
It has rear, but not fronts....I've been quoted £350 by the dealer to have installed...question I have - are they of much use? I guess largely it's down to personal preference but this cost seems quite steep to me? Shocked

What do you think?

Chin
I have had them on all of my cars, find them very useful.
I did have them retro fitted on a Honda CRV a few years ago by a company called Chamelion from Chelmsford, they did a great job on that car, could not tell they were reto fitted, looked like standard spec. MY13.5 Autobiography, Santorini Black, Privacy Glass. Gone
Driving a milk float for now.

RRS is with the dealer today - they have done another set of checks and are now waiting LR technical to advise them on fix. Has anyone else got anywhere with this yet Bow down

I also mentioned vibration/rattle on sub woofer when they picked it up and turns out it is faulty so they have ordered replacement - at least I will be able listen to my ipod without the annoying noise now Thumbs Up

Worrying that MSE also had an issue - could it be a faulty batch or poor QC on build I wonder Confused Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
