WARRANTY

I have an 07 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE. Warranty Direct have quoted me a price of 675, including wear and tear and upto 24,000 miles per year. Labour Costs fully inclusive and I would have to pay 20% towards the cost of the parts. Excess is £50 per claim.

Any ideas if this is the best deal i will get?

Thanks guys Range Rover Sport HSR

Give the other two big companies a shout first. I got a quote with warranty wise, it was a like for like deal £100 cheaper and after a few days of not taking out the cover I got a £100 off voucher by email. 2011 Evoque Si4 Dynamic plus lux

The Concern I have is the Arc Bar is starting to make a knocking noise when you tap the break. According to my limited knowledge and research I suspect this will cost in the region of £2000 with fitting and labour.

Also the peace of mind with a beast such as this may be worth the hit?

I think the 20% part is down to the mileage on the vehicle or the age (cant remember which) so you may have the same sort of thing with other companies. I have a WD policy as it seemed to cover more than the others as mine includes problems found at MOTs and most important consequential damage which most others don't cover. They wouldn't move on the price but I got cover for sat nav and audio cover thrown in.

Not had a claim on this vehicle but had a couple on another with no problems. MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys

Ive had a couple of claims with WD who have paid up with no problems, covering the alternator and most recently ARB bushes and modified bracket.

They apply a £50 XS per claim as you say and discount as the car gets older as you say. For peace of mind I'm happy that if anything major goes pop it's not coming out of my pocket and i woudn't consider running a RRS without some form of warranty cover. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy
