2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black

Smelly..!

I rarely give my RRS a thrashing however when i do i get a smell in the cabin, it smells like 'engine/oil'!

Is this normal?

I have a 2005 RRS Supercharged.

also have a creaking/knocking on steering when on full lock either way?

No,you should not get any smells. I have the same rrs. As to the steering.. Only on full lock?

What are your thoughts to what it is?

And yes only on very full lock either way.

If it was a oil leak that was burning you d smell it all the time I would of thought. Need to investergate alittle more.Have you checked the steering fluid lately? Could be power steering motor.
