2010 hesitation on cruise/ momentary loss of power

Our 2010 3.0 tdv6 is suffering a momentary hesitation or loss of power. Most apparent at cruise control on motorway you get a split second hiccup. Also felt on open road under acceleration, like a pause without full power. I thought at first perhaps dodgy fuel but it went to dealers with no fault found last year and I've been using Millers Diesel Eco Max additive ever since. Now just driven through France it's been irritating but so random I can't work out what it could be.
It's 40k miles, full dealer service history we've owned since new. I've just taken the extended warranty.
Any suggestions ? A hole in a turbo hose ?

Could just be the EGR system...on part throttle it allows exhaust gas in to the engine which means that on throttle application it takes a moment for the system to breath clean air and then develop full power. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Are you sure it is a momentary loss of power and not a momentary loss of drive? When it occurs what does the tacho do? Any messages on the dash? Have you had the fault codes scanned? 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Thanks because its so irregular I haven't seen the rev counter dip or anything. It's literally less than a second but enough for everyone to feel it.
No errors display and nothing in fault memory when it went into dealers. There was a tsb for something similar apparentky but not for my chassis number.
No dpf on this car either it was an option at the time, and the car is used on motorway at least twice a week.
It's a really irritating, intermittent fault I wish I could identify.

On my 2012 sdv6 hse I had a 'hole' in acceleration arund 130km/h...came out to be accerator potentiometer. Since stealer changed it, problem is gone. They had a note from Land Rover on this issue. The symptom was the car would hesitate and hick up. At higher speed problem would be gone, at lower speed problem would be gone.

Kind of nice to know I am not alone. Mine has done something similar ever since I acquired it about 12 months ago. Only happens when cruising at approx 70 mph and perhaps only once every 40 miles or so on the motorway. The best way I can describe it is like in a manual if you were to knock it out of gear without dipping the clutch or like hitting the rev limiter in my old 911 (but not as much fun). Only lasts for a split second, revs blip up and then back down but you have to be quick to see it. Sometimes but not always I used to see 'HDC fault system not available' pop up and if cruise control was on it would be cancelled. So far I have tried new fuel filter, new battery, new brake light switch, changed stop/tail bulbs for proper Land Rover OEM (Osram), gearbox reset and no longer see the HDC fault message. Have also drained and refilled gearbox fluid and fitted new metal gearbox sump with fresh filter (worth doing anyway at anything over 35k miles apparently). Most recently had gearbox and engine software updated. Spent a happy few days in sunny weather checking all the wiring behind the battery and connector plugs, transfer case control module and earthing points in same area and connector plugs to transfer case and gearbox. Today checked wiring under front and rear nearside wheel arch liners but all seemed fine. All these things are worth a try and are mostly inexpensive. I think the throttle pedal potentiometer is worth a try too. Think it is just two bolts and a big multi plug so deffo a DIY possibility.
Your issue sounds similar but different to mine but might respond to one of the above.
complicating things in my case is a slight rumble at about 1500 revs in any gear which could be a torque converter issue but not getting the fluctuating rev thing normally associated with TC failure. Had it test driven by good transmission specialists and they suspect it is faulty lock up clutch in the TC but not sure if the hiccup thing is related or a separate problem. I have a theory based on just reading about how the lock up clutch works which is that there may be a problem with the electronic pressure regulating solenoid that controls the lock up clutch; if pressure slowly bleeds away then perhaps the lock up clutch suddenly disengages when cruising and is quickly re-engaged when the TCM senses the pressure drop. Then the cycle starts again. Am having another specialist look at it next week and there will be two transmission experts and an electronics guru so maybe we'll eventually get to the problem. Apologies to everyone for rambling on but maybe this could be helpful to anyone with a similar issue.

In 2010 LR issued a bulletin concerning "3.0 TDV6 Stumble/Misfire (130kmh/80mph)". Apparently there were reports of a slight stumble/misfire at vehicle speeds of 130kph (80mph)....

This was attributed to some problem with the positioning of some motor magnets in the throttle plate assembly and it was recommended to replace this throttle plate. Malaysia Boleh!
