On our old Disco the max demist / windscreen button was very good for the condition you mention. Yes it auto selected which vents it used but that is for reason. Give it a try mate. |

If you leave the temp set to Auto then it will still do what it thinks you need, if you want max heat try to wind the temp up manually as well. |

All vents open front and rear! Going from auto to max fan speed increases the output very slightly. No great whoosh of air! |

What if the auto function was calling for max anyway? It would not turn up any more.

Ahead of you on that one! I thought of that over the weekend. On auto there is a steady trickle of air, which has been the same since October, hit max fan and there's slightly more air but not a lot

Have you turned auto climate off before turning fan to max? 5.0 Ltr Superchrged RRS2, Chile Red, Sideways out of junctions!
