I am unsure if mine is working well, then, as it was blocking the wheels totally. like when you brake real strong and the abs is forcing a lot i fell breaking the whole car, then after for the first time i heard the transmission tapping... tdv6s 2.7 2007 xkr 5 2010 |

But are you talking with HDC and muds and ruts settings or HDC alone?? Cause myself in Muds and ruts setting and hdc on, it locks all 4 wheels and i can't move anymore. tdv6s 2.7 2007 xkr 5 2010 |

HDC can be used alone or in conjunction with the TR programs. It shouldn't cause the vehicle to stop completely but if you are travelling at reasonable speed, say 20mph, and then activate it (by taking your foot off the throttle when HDC is on) it will brake quite firmly. Using the throttle or brake pedals will override HDC.

I think the best bet is to go on an off road training day ideally at a land rover centre in Spain, to learn how to use the system, it will be difficult to explain over the forum.

Thanks a lot Muddywheels, I have it polished today. I was happy it was not a major problem, the HDC does it in all TR mode...
