Best exhaust options for 3.6 tdv8

In the process of buying above car... Noticed on most models the exhausts are hidden away under the rear bumper. Ive seen the tailpipes you can add for about £190 but was wondering if anyone had replaced the rear section or the whole thing with stainless??

Hi Sirwacko

I'm up on holiday in Northumberland at the moment and even today a middle aged guy tapped me on the shoulder and passed positive comment about the looks and sound. Just goes to show you can be a petrol head at over 50. Sorry to the over 50s. Just seen the vid and pics. Wow!! That's exactly what I'm looking for, no dirty great silencers hanging down. Very neat and tucked away with just enough stainless on view!

Whereabout did you say these guys are? I live in Blackpool. Do you have a link for their site?

Thanks very much for all your help, I might get this on as my first mod!!

Sirwacko the company is called Pipewerx and only 30/40 minutes away in Burscough just 12 miles south of Preston. There are two businesses there, one for cars and one for bikes. They have a web site with the number so just give Phil a shout and mention my name, Steve, and ask him to do the same. I paid £300 and the guys there are brilliant.

Let me know how you get on. TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx

We have a customer with a custom exhaust fitted to his TDV8

The cat. convertors have been taken out, (and 2 dummy cats fitted to keep the MOT man happy Whistle ) and the centre silencer removed

I left my cat in and removed centre box an replaced two rear silencers with small bullet boxes. I did look at taking the cat out but felt that it would create too much 'boom' in the cabin space when on journeys. TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx

Revere oval tailpipes was my choice - decent looks to compliment the rear of the Sport
