Daylight Running Lights

Just fitted a set of DRL's on the motor, I have to say for the sum of £20 they are extremely good quality Mr. Green

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green  Cheers Paul

I was undecided how I wanted to wire them, I was going to wire them from a switched live under the bonnet but liked the idea of being able to turn them off if needed, In the end I decided to disconnect the front fog lights at the plug and fed DRL's with the fog light feed... So all I do is pull the switch out to put the front fogs on and my DRL's light up instead Mr. Green

I just hope it doesn't get foggy Laughing Cheers Paul

Probably cheaper to add a relay '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

I understand it as if you have got lights fitted no matter what lights they are, then they must work to pass an mot otherwise its a fail. Then maybe not in this case Big Cry

You could always do what D3 and FFRR owners do and fit led halos inside the foglights.
Same foglight assembly on RRS.

DRL's
