Guys what is a good price for my second year service, car has done 8k miles 3.0td6.

Anyway....service price, I found shopping around for my first one rather an eye opener with regard to the spread. Try David in the service dept at LPR, I know its a fair drive over there from the lovely county of Essex, but believe me, you may well be quids in if the price I was quoted is anything to go by.

Edit: you could also try James at HGG (not such a big drive) and see if he's managed to lean on his new service department yet to offer forum prices  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Just booked mine for its second service and I have done 9500 miles. I got quoted £570 from Yeovil Land Rover but I asked about discount and they offered 10%.
Also asked about battery's for key fob and was told they need to be changed every year.
Think if you phone around you could get it cheaper but I'm miles away from any big dealers.

I did phone around a few dealers for a price and Lookers were the most expensive. I did mention this site and it made no difference. Bring back James.
Also there customer service was hopeless on the phone. I will be paying a lot of money to the garage and it would of been nice if the person I was speaking to knew something about the product.

Yes it was, i can't complain at the price match though, thanks again. Next challenge insurance oh and then it wants taxing at the end of the month, can't see me negotiating a discount on that somehow
