2013 Model ? I would go for OEM fitted at the dealer Whistle before you take delivery of the vehicle. 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............
17MY Autobiography Dynamic - Corris Grey - WOW.
14MY Autobiography Dynamic - SDV6 - Fuji White Smile
12MY Autobiography - SDV6 - Santorini Black - Dual View - Rear Entertainment - Sunroof.
12MY Autobiography - SDV6 - Orkney Grey - awesome ;(
2005 Java Black - 4.2 V8 Supercharged First Edition- will never be forgotten ;(

why would opt for that ? any reason in particular ??

circa £800 fitted at dealer and was advised that they now cut your sills at the dealership as dont make the genuine pre cut sills anymore..

Or if they are any good get a very similar set of side steps with pre cut sills and fit them yourself and save around £500

That was my thinking but ofcourse can be convinced if they are rubbish or any other reason but mainly want to know if they fit ?

Apologies - is it a new vehicle ? if so most likely very expensive therefore the first accessory to be fitted would have to be OEM - but saying that - I have copies on mine - they was circa £300 over 2 years ago - ( you can purchase them a lot cheaper now ) - they come with pre cut sills and took a couple of us just over 2hrs to fit. I had just paid out 23k and to be honest was broke Laughing I looked at the originals and could not find any difference what so ever - only advice - clean regular because they can tarnish in time and some have been known to loose there edging strips.I believe they will all fit - give Dan @ Duckworths ( site sponsor on here ) a call tomorrow morning he will confirm 1 way or the other that`s if you get no info between now & then. Thumbs Up 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Thanks

Yes its new which is why im probably more fussy about doing it myself (insert control freak) I work with trim on cars all day long so used to taking trim off and on etc so tend look at OEM for something like this is its only someone out in the workshop doing the straight forward that I can do on the weekend and save ££££. Read the quality of the aftermarket is virtually identical hence why thought about it rather than OEM

Just thought would ask the question really so thanks for you info about the comparison and tarnish advise, steer clear of using TFR on them for me then !!!! Thumbs Up

I have found most people quoting part numbers and all seem to match up.

Cheers for the site sponsor contact too Thumbs Up

I had side steps on RRS loaner and was glad I never went for them on mine - I had steps in the past on a landcruiser, D2 and ffrr loaner and they were great but I use access setting on RRS so steps were more inconvenient than useful Confused

Getting in and out they smeared mud on my jeans because trying to step on them was awkward so ended up stepping over them Rolling Eyes

The only use I can see for them is stopping mud spray up sides and for kids but unless you are short they are a pain Bow down Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!
