RRS SC Dynamic Response System

Hi to all. We have a 2006 RRS SC here in the shop that has noise problems from the front sway bar assembly. We took the assembly off to check if the noise would go away and indeed it did. What we now plan is to eliminate this assembly from the vehicle so I made electrical connections to the pressure sensor to check out the readings and this is what I got: Idle (400 mV), Cornering (3.71 V), and from the Max/Min readings I got a Min reading of about 300 mV. I then put together a voltage divider to simulate the 400 mV and connected this to the pressure sensor connector. The system error light still illuminates after a few seconds after starting the engine. We have another plan of action but before we do it, does someone have a .pdf file of the DR system? I need to know in-depth how the system operates, what input signals does the system look for, and how does it react to these signals. What I really need is the technical (system) description of this dynamic response system and from there I will figure something out.

You will need to replace both dynamic anti roll bars with standard bars. A new bar, in the UK, costs £800 plus fitting. I really can't see the benefit of changing the whole spec of the suspension rather than just replace one component. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I wonder if it is as simple as disabling the ARC system in the CCF Question

Yes it would be easier to replace but the owner decided to have it removed as this component seems to have a high failure rate and this vehicle will also not be used off-road. Essentially what we plan to do is to trick the system into thinking that this component is still present if it can see the voltage readings from the pressure sensor. But I still need to know what other inputs it looks for. Does anyone have a pdf file of this DR system and willing to share it with me?

Just to point out the the dynamic system is more for on road than off road...personally i cant see why you would want to remove it - its a great system.

Anyway, i suggest you subscribe to topix and read the electrical manuals and work out what the readings are...it will all be there im sure. Mike

Yes you are correct, the DR is more suitable for on-road maneuvers and yes it is a great system except that it leaks in so short a time and gives off clunking sounds (not very great it seems). Anyway, thanks for your reply and insights guys...I think I will have to go about this on my own.

from my understanding, they are just going to remove the part, without replacing it, or anything else, trick the ECU, and then drive Shocked Shocked 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))
