I recognise the words as being English but the way they're put together makes little sense... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Really? Well. When the alarm goes off you can barely hear it. |

My alarm has a shockingly low sound. I think It's either swap the siren for an aftermarket one, wire it so the horn goes off aswell or fit a whole new aftermarket one. |

I thought (as per Disco 3) just by unplugging the alarm siren, the system automatically defaults to the horn...?

Well that's good to know. Any know where the siren is? Doubt id be able to find it even if I set it off lol. On another note, if u pull the grill off, on the n/s there is a plastic cover. Behind this there is some sort of sensor. Any idea what it is? Mines hanging off

Sounder is near the brake pipes ABS unit. It is a black box with VOLVO written on it ISTR. Just disconnect (easier said that done) the connector and it will revert to your normal Horn. Bodsys Brake Bible

Here's how to make the alarm system use the horns not the battery back up sounder.
