England 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey
Well that's decided then

The time has come, I've had an itch for a while now to own a 110 defender utility. I've scratched it today and placed an order for a corris grey, black edition with premium leather seats, I don't think I could go totally back to basics Laughing took one for a test drive today and once I got used to having to change gear manually I really didn't mind it at all.
The practicalities of owning the range rover with gun dogs and all the gear that goes with it, I just felt I was ruining the interior even though I would clean it out every time.
The dealer has offered very good trade in and I'll still have cash in the bank, middle of December before they can fulfill the order so can't wait, but will really miss the sport Big Cry
Haven't posted a lot on here but always love the banter and have had some really helpfull advice, so coming up before long will be my Lowenharts 22" wheels for sale 2 have brand new tyres on the others have approx 4mm left if you have a look in my gallery They are on my lastRRS I think about £1000 not including P&P will be fair looking on how much they cost brand new, they have a couple of stone chips but aren't curbed.
Just realised the pics are of the RRS I'm selling with said wheels.
Cheers guys

Quite a change then ! Hopefully the new motor will serve you well once it arrives. Thumbs Up

Just out of interest how much did the dealer offer for your RRS?

Only asking as my RRS is pretty much identical to yours, so would be keen to know what current values are like. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

Cap clean states just over £38,000, he said that's what they will give me when they see it, there should be no reason why not just gone over 20,000 miles fdsh, looking on piston heads etc they seem to range from that and up to over 40k. Now gone Orkney grey SDV6 HSE with body style kit contrast stitch ebony leather, privacy, black piano, 22" Lowenharts for summer, 20" with Leon LTZ for winter.

That's not to bad then, I can now sleep comfortably tonight lol Laughing . I paid £40k for mine back in January with 30k miles, so good to see prices are holding up fairly well. Thumbs Up 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

"Defender" and "premium leather" don't go together. Just keep the RRS and accept it gets dirty now and then! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I know what your saying but I feel the amount of off roading and helping look after the pheasants on our shoot, a few scratches and dents on a defender look alright, not on a RRS though. Thumbs Up plus I,m trying to keep some happy medium with the other half Now gone Orkney grey SDV6 HSE with body style kit contrast stitch ebony leather, privacy, black piano, 22" Lowenharts for summer, 20" with Leon LTZ for winter.

Ah, now that's a good reason! Rolling with laughter Thumbs Up

Seriously, however, if you're moving feeders and bags of feed etc. around then a Defender makes sense. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Hi (1st post)

I thought i was the only 1 going mad Smile

I just picked up on the 1st Sept a New 64 plate Defender Utility my15 having been on the site since last Oct ans disco 3/4 site since 2006 (sorry not to post much) After buying a 12 plate RRS HSE Lux and loving it i felt i needed a change again , Had a few disco 3's and the a Discovery 4 which was the best to date the Sport just seemed to be the next in line.
Both the 4 and the Sport had held there value well. , but after 10 month's i was bored and changed to the Defender (wife and friends think I'm losing it or have lost my marbles )

Hopefully the defender will keep some value like the others have Smile
