Brembo discs and pads or aftermarket???

Hi,

My TDV8 needs front discs and pads, Do i replace them with aftermarket or replace them with brembo discs and pads? What have others done on here? If they have used aftermarket ones, which ones are you using?

I think the Brembo discs and pads are a lot more money than aftermarket, Is it just the name you pay for?

Sorry if this has been covered before!

Thanks

Mine has Ferrodo pads fitted. Which is what LR use anyway, according to the fitter, just without the LR logo and associated price hike. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I have had some poor experiences with Greenstuff pads in the past. I would steer well clear of them...

I have had 2 sets, one set actually caught fire, and the 2nd set completely detached itself from from the backing plate, and failed while driving...

I'd be avoiding them as we'll if that had happened to me.
