Plastic sumps are superior to the metal ones, though harder to replace

well metal ones tend to leak and don't always have a drain plug.

Ravnol was recommended by my indy took me a couple of hours now have a shiny metal sump pan. Used some gasket seal as well as the supplied gasket belt and braces I know but hey Land rovers don't need an excuse to leak If it ain't broken down it soon will
