Sweden 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HST Java Black

Hi Murch75

That connector is for a telephonebracket/cradle.
When the cars were new, there was a few models of Nokia´s
that had a cradle for the RRS and LandRovers.

Those telephones, when installed in that cradle, gave You
access to the phonebook and stuff via either the Stereo or the Navigator.

These telephones are still available, but are more antiquities nowadays with all the I****s
and other intelligent phones on the market.

With a new telephone, and paired with the bluetooth, You can still dial from the stereo and so,
but in orderto get "full acess", an option is to get an upgraded Bluetooth-module, then You can do all sorts of stuff
via the Stereo /Navigator.

Contact "Wiggs" on the forum if You are interested, he sells upgraded BT-modules.

Best regards
