Problem free? No. Better than they used to be? Probably.

The SDV6 isn't really old enough yet to show any signs of unreliability, there has been a few little niggles though Rear tailgate not opening correctly (configuration required) dealers aware of it. Steering wheel out of line by about 20%. One member on here had a problem with the gear selector failing and unable to operate, 4 wheel alignment has been a problem from factory with many members including myself Another issue ive heard of is an accelerator problem with a couple of members (delay in pick up) Other than these few issues i havn't heard of anything too serious. but as i said its early days. |

On the face of it, I cannot complain, I've not returned to the dealer in coming up to 12 months.

When driving in a straight line the steering wheel is about 20 degrees turned to the right (in my case anyway) So if i straightened the steering wheel up to dead centre while driving my motor would veer off to te left. |

Mine wasn't the steering wheel, but the rear near side wheel being toe out, causing the car to drift/veer (depending on speed) right when the wheel was held straight. I'm sure the helpful chaps at LPR would have sorted it for me, but for around £50 I had it aligned at an independent. To be honest, it'll cost me best part of £50 to get to LPR in fuel. Mines not that bad, in fact i didn't really notice it, it was my brother that drove it & said he thought it was pulling to the left ever so slightly!, when i then drove it i agreed, when you let go of the steering wheel (not advised before all you politically correct types start ) it does 'wander' over to the left. LR are going to look at it, and will align it FOC under warranty Owner of MY13 RRS Red Edition, Santorini Black, Ebony with Lunar, Privacy Glass & Exterior Design Pack |
