New to RRS - buying advice!
Hi everyone! This is my first post here! I've been contemplating getting out of my Porsche 911 and in to a new(ish) RRS and would appreciate some advice from more experienced people.
The basics are: (Nearly new) low mileage RRS SDV6 (or maybe TDV6 if I can't afford the newer model) HSE spec in either Black, Grey or maybe Bali with Ivory or Oatmeal and side steps.
It looks like I'll be looking at early to mid £40k's to cover these variants and wondered whether any of you would specifically go for the new 8 speed or if you think that the TDV6 is just as good? I realise that there's a slight improvement in MPG (and VED tax?) but the later of the TDV's seem to have most of the spec that the new SDV has - other than the major difference of the new 'box.
Anyway, any thoughts or opinions would be very welcome.
As a matter of interest, I've owned my 911 for 7 years and it's been great - but I've never really been able to relax about leaving it anywhere and I'm now looking for something that is luxurious but that I can enjoy without worrying too much about.
Thanks in advance.
Gal.

I do take your point. Just wondering whether the SDV6 is necessarily.....well, better...?

Tax is roughly the same on the newest models, around the £460 pounds a year mark unless I'm mistaken.
Just taxed my 58 plate yesterday, £475
