Nice one, well done Wink So what did you have to do (remove) in the end, any pictures of work in progress ?

We'll done, just show what a rip off the garage was going to charge, I bet if you did a couple it would be one to an hr or so Smile

Now Coe on, we want a blow by blow instruction sheet Razz If you took some fog and put it in a jar, would it be missed.

United States 2007 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Siberian Silver

I wanted to thank every single person in this thread for all the valuable information posted. I am in the process of making a step by step DIY for future members who are interested in doing this.

I have one small question first, I took out the motor and the white plastic trim moves left to right with the dial. I tried to manually turn the small gear on the HVAC (the motor connects to that gear) and I was able to turn it but the heat doesn't change all that much, just a little.

I am working on the driver side blend motor and I can not tell if there is anything stuck in the flap causing it to not close fully. is there a way I could access the flap to see if there is anything in the way? I know some members said they saw Swiss army knives, pens, cards etc stuck in the door/flap. My question is how do I get to that flap?

My dealership wants to charge me $3400 US. Dollars to replace the entire HVAC and I am not sure why they autonomically assume it's the entire HVAC assembly and rule out items being stuck.
