on my MY06 i could hit a button on the dash to switch off the Reverse Parking sensors, which i always used when i was towing or had a bike rack attached. There is no obvious switch to do this on the MY10 model... is there any short cuts or is it a safety feature that can no longer be disabled Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

With a correctly wired light board (or trailer) plugged in, the rear sensors will dissable automatically (as your 06 should have done) RRS gone

ah there lies the problem, in OZ the Bike Rack does not have a wired light board, just a number plate.. so nothing plugged in.. hence why the old MY06 RPS warning was so simple to disable by the dash button.. not so on the MY10 Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |

I've got an MY12 which (bar some software and a few tweaks here and there) I thought had the same interior as MY10. On my dashboard, there is a button to enable/disable the parking sensors |

This was covered on AULRO recently and the general consensus was - no (despite the LR Aust site showing a switch on the dash of the cars on their site - apparently does not exist in real life). Garry 07MY RRS TDV6 Arctic Frost Aspen Interior |

i can only assume that the ANZ models are Friday afternoon builds, after "Barry from Bromsgrove" had been down the pig and ferret and downed about 16 pints of banks best bitter (extra warm) ![]() MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |
