2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Java Black
Unwrapped cables at rear of car

I have just bought a 2005 first edition 4.2 s/c RRS and had my spare wheel off to add a protector and noticed about 10-12 cables entering a white box on the passengar side above the spare wheel. They are wrapped most of the way but the last 6-8 inches before entering the white box they aren't. I can also see where they coonect into the white box. Is this normal? Will the connections not corrode or be affected by water?

I managed to take this photo last night and though it isn't very clear the bare cables can be seen.

Should I wrap them in tape? Does the box they connect into need to be wrapped in tape?

Any help would be appreciated as don't want things to start going wrong due to water.

Thanks for replying Ady.

Just thought it looked very strange, as you say, it's as if L/R run out of tape and couldn't be bothered finishing it off.
