Engine System Fault

Hi all, my TDV8 07 WITH 117,000 miles has been repeatedly showing an engine system fault since I bought it in August. I've had it to a LR specialist, and their Auto Logic diagnostics indicated a "BRAKE PEDAL THROTTLE PEDAL Incompatibility" error. They fitted a new accelerator pedal and programmed it to the car. The fault was still there.
To cut a very long story short, I've just had two EGR valves fitted (yesterday) by a different LR specialist as his diagnostics were showing an EGR fault as well as the brake/throttle pedal one.
Suffice to say the engine system fault is still present!
I can be driving at a steady 30mph 1500rpm in 4th gear (auto - not command shift) and the car will lose power for a couple of seconds, display the engine system fault then carry on as though nothing has happened (just one example - it has happened at other speeds too).
I'm taking it back on Wednesday. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
Tony.

Electrical issue perhaps? That throws all manner of errors up. Check the alternator and battery... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

If it was a TDV6 i'd be suggesting your turbo is possibly goosed.

If only it was that simple. Unfortunately it had a new alternator 3 months ago and the battery is fine. Thanks anyway.

Just in case any body else suffers with similar problems in the future, I thought I'd update the thread with hopefully the cure.
A new brake pedal switch has been fitted which has given me an unheard of 3 days motoring without a problem. A new brake servo was also fitted at the same time for another issue (brakes not coming off properly!).
Thumbs Up
Thanks go to the Landyman in Sutton Merseyside for finally sorting it out.
