Bruce Lynton Land Rover on Gold Coast has been helpful and accommodating in rectifying a problem with my RRS they sold me. They had a 3rd party fit non genuine rims (Stormer copies) prior to selling the car. Unfortunately these non genuine rims were not the correct load rating. Fitted today were 4 x genuine LR Stormer rims. I was happy with their attitude and service. SWMBO owns this car I get to drive occasionally

Aren't all main dealers supposed to do the Land Rover Comprehensive Multi Point Inspection before resale? Rather a bad miss 1st time around I would have thought?

Long story. The car was traded with 22" rims, which they did not want to sell the car with.
So they sent it off to a large 3rd party wheel/tyre vendor to have new 20" rims/tyres fitted. This vendor supplied copies of OEM stormer rims. The same vendor had advised dealer that wheels/tyres they fitted complied and were correct for the car.
So as the dealer had brought them, they had no reason to pull them off and check them.
When I got a damaged tyre I spotted then the very incorrect load rating on first set of rims (this is now 3rd set). SWMBO owns this car I get to drive occasionally
