Pre icer...this might be a silly question

Picked up my Bonatti Grey 4.2 SC today and loving every second of being in the cockpit..but i have a really newbie question....would using pre-icer have any negative effects on the heated front windscreen...i know its getting warmer now in the UK but was just wondering if any of you knowledgeable people know. There's nothing in the manual that says you cant use specific things. If it doesnt scare you it isnt heavy enough

Do you mean the liquid/aerosol stuff you can spray on the outside of the glass?

If so, then there is absolutely no issue using it before or during use of the heated windscreen - have done both on a couple of mornngs where the ice is particularly thick. Timed climate is best though Razz

^^^ Agree with what Supacat says Thumbs Up
Shouldn't cause any problems, although I tend to just start the car a few minutes early and let the screen defrost itself. Never really been a fan of de-icers. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
