I'm currently with Direct Line and they were the best quote by a 'country mile' for me.

They also were (although not sure if they still are) running some good discounts for additional car policies held held with them. By insuring the wifes Fiat 500, I managed to get 25% off mine  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Be wary of the comparison sites. I am insured with santander, did the. Quote the other year just because they were giving a free sat nav. they had the best price, yet if I did a quote on a comparison site it came up 5x the premium. The renewal this year was the best price, but yet again the same product through the comparison sites was 5x
