2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

How to Remove TDV8 Engine Top Cover?

Reading about a couple of sensors that live under this cover that can be checked and cleaned and wondered if there was a tip to removing the top cover before i start pulling in the wrong direction or at the wrong point and break a bracket or something.

Can anyone offer advice?

Can't remember doing anything more special than a gentle tug upwards.
