Reversing Camera Guidelines - Do they bend?

As above. A friend has a Cayenne and when reversing and turning the steering wheel, the guideline tracks bend, showing the intended route of the car. On my RRS, they seem to be straight all the time.

Is that 'just the way it is', a fault, or is there an option that I should have enabled ? Handbook doesn't venture into too much detail Confused

They only bend if you have the surround camera system (vision assist), if not then they are static....... strange but true.

Just off the phone to LPR Service dept.
Turns out that unless you have the towing assist (which i assume means the surround camera's too), the lines are static, so its all ok Very Happy ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Is it possible to get a reversing camera retrofitted by Land Rover onto a 2007 model?

Whats odd with the bending lines is all the kit is in there without the camera's its just a software thing with the cameras it would seem! Mike

Exactly, I wonder if it can be activated by changing the settings in the software somewhere? ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Send an email to BAS Autos - he's the software guru. I'd be interested in a "fix" to switch this functionality on as I already have the OEM reverse camera fitted but no trailer assist.
