New Brake Pipes for a 57 plate TDV8

Hi all

Just had my 57 plate serviced from the local dealer and been advised rear brake discs and pads need replaced which I'm fine with as general wear and tear. But they also said brake pipes are badly corroded and need replaced as they'll be a MOT failure.
Seems a little soon for a 4 year old car with 50k on the clock. What's the thoughts on this?
