Brake Lights - Top light works but both rear dont ?????

Any ideas? checked fuses and bulbs- all fine

I cannot undertsand how the top/3rd light works and the rear dont?

any ideas welcome

thanks for reply, yes checke both side bulbs they are fine, Iwas thinking it may be the brake switch but I agree with you - the 3rd light would not work if that was the case surely.
