Just ordered my sport

I have just got back from the dealer after ordering my new sport tdv6 hse in giverny green.

I got the last build slot before the £2500 price increase, so should arrive in July.

It should be a bit of a change from my Subaru Impreza STI that i currently drive! but can't wait.

Congratulation I hope u will enjoy it…so you will be coming from Subaru Impreza STI to RRS HSE…oh the similar situation is for me from my Lovely Evolution 8 to RRS (supercharged) can I know why you decided to get RRS in general and to be more specific why diesel one?
For me it’s a simple reason I like sport cars and I enjoy 4x4 driving , for that I’m having Evo plus jeep wrangler
because of that I though to integrate two in one the result came in my mind was RRS supercharged…true 4x4 not like X5, Q7 and still could be considered as a sport car nice handling and great pleasure to drive so do you all agree

Thanks for the replies, I went for a Sport because i need a big car for towing a caravan and i fancied something different from the Subaru(safe, luxurious and economical?)

I was considering a Porsche Cayenne but felt the interior was a let down compared to the Sport and could also not justify less than 20mpg(hence no v8/supercharged Sport)

The spec i have chosen is
TDV6 HSE in Giverny green(hopefully won't show the scratches)
Side steps
Tints
PTI
Flaps
Adaptive lights
(20 inch wheels to follow)

Glad to have found this site it seems a good one.

And Giverny is also a very rare colour so you will have to get used to folks asking if it is a special edition....... and it isn't bad at hiding the scratches too!
Have fun in it....... and welcome to the club. Which interior colours did you go for? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Simon, welcome on board. As already said above you'll hopefully find this site both informative as well as a good laugh. As Kam said, a lot of great people on here and one or two who are .....................

Tim in Scotland is, as far as I'm aware the only other one with Giverny but no doubt I'll get slapped down! Laughing Check his gallery or pics from 21st April meet

If you're adding 20's at a later date, why not add dynamic pack. JayMann has added it to his HSE TDV6 and it loooks to be worthwhile.

I should have spec'd it but now going to add Stormers and if you buy OE will cost more than the whole dynamic pack! Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

ST, Can the full Dynamic Pack be added as a dealer fit extra now? Including all the electronics?

RE Giverny Green - mine was the only opne in Scotland until fairly recently..... but I know of at least one other and also on recent trips south I have seen a couple of others on the motorways. Jeffrey in California has one with Alpacca hides and takes it offroad a lot in Arizona 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Zermatt Silver

When I test-drove the RRS with and without dynamic pack, I thought the difference was amazing.
The Brembo brakes were so much more progressive and powerful, with very little in the way of nosedive compared with the non-dynamic version. The damping seemed better as well, and of course the car didn't "lean" as much as the non-dynamic version.
Doesn't the dynamic pack include the adaptive lights as well?
I would imagine that if it was possible, to dealer fit a complete dynamic pack would be far more expensive than the £3k(ish) that LR charge as an option.

Bob. RRS 4.2 S/C. Zermatt. Tints. Stormers. 150+ paint defects, wonkey bonnet, scratches, detached doorseal. suspension faults. To sum it up, a 60k pile of cr4p!
