Replacement boot button

So, today whilst having the lettering replaced I asked them about replacing the boot switch on the tailgate. It works fine but has gone grey and really annoys me. Parts were £16 but they wanted £80 to fit?????? Is it really that hard to change the 2 piece switch? You can live in your car but you cant race your house
just put white indicatrs on, have all black badges ready and have quote for rear tints and dvd's

I changed mine in 10mins, you have to be carefull not to break the plastic clips holding the switch in place. I keep telling myself 'It's a toy'
But I've broken quite a lot of toys in my time.....

I replaced mine because it stopped working.

It is a bit of Censored to get out, as you need to bend the clips in to remove it. I keep telling myself 'It's a toy'
But I've broken quite a lot of toys in my time.....

Exactly, this is what I do every time I clean the car. A new one will inevitably go grey so why bother Confused

That's what I did last week, button cover and bezel. Took approximately 42 seconds!

Looks great. SDV6 HSE Sport2 - Santorini Black, Ebony Interior, Pano Roof, Things I haven't found yet!

TDV6 HSE, Java Black, Black Premium Leather, Privacy, LR Side Steps, Smoked Side Repeaters, SC Vents and lots of toys!
