SPARE WHEEL SECURITY

CAN ANYONE HELP JUST HAD SPARE WHEEL STOLEN FROM MY RR SPORT IS THERE ANYWAY TO PROTECT THE NEW ONE I'M HAVING TO GET FROM THESE SCUM BAGS

Got to the car this morning and, guess what?.....

Yes, the retaining clip and a spring on the road and a big space where my spare used to be Evil or Very Mad

I'll no doubt need one of those 'security' devices but what's the likelihood though that by the time those 'low lifes' discover they can't remove the wheel they'll have done some serious damage?..........

Silly question I'm sure but what size is the temporary spare wheel on a 2008 TDV8? 20" on the vehicle but not sure what the temporary wheel is...
