Question for AB owners regarding painted lower body moldings

I do love the look of the Autobiography models with color matched lower trim - just seems to present a cleaner and more consistent/finished look.

However I'm curious as to how well the painted lower body moldings on the Autobiography models are holding up. On the 06-09 models (and I'm assuming current models as well) the black lower side moldings seemed to take the brunt of any careless door swings and dents from other cars.

I wonder if the painted lowers are being nicked up and more susceptible to chipping and damage? Does the different front painted fascia show more wear and tear from rock chips than a non-AB model?
