Has anyone ever used this AA service. It costs £73.50 a year and that gives you 5 claims upto £500 you pay the first £25.It covers all electrical and mechanical. An AA mechanic told me about it and says its very good,as long as your service book is stamped, main dealer or indy your ok.

I had it on a E36 M3 many many years ago, everything I called them out for wasn't covered, or I was told was a "long term fault" and not a breakdown so again, not covered Crying or Very sad

AA breakdown cover

I have this cover and to be honest I am very impressed with it. I was driving back from Cornwall to Wales 2 weeks ago only done 100 miles when felt something was not right pulled over into next layby got out to find my rear wheel smoking it was so hot.phoned AA sent recoery truck as they will not fix any brake problem on the road side, they recovered me home, arrived home 1am in morning. the next day they sent another recovery vehicle picked my car up and took the main dealer 30 miles away.Stratestones checked vehicle found falt to be caliper had stuck on,they stripped all wheels cleaned all brakes replaced caliper and adjusted every thing total bill £305.89 sent it off to AA had cheque back within 10 days for £267, very impressed and well worth money in my opinion. Very Happy Thumbs Up 2005 HSE 2.7 RRSport loaded with 2010 goodies

It's a bargain, I have this on a couple of cars had my money back already, so long as you have a patrol out first will cover virtually anything.
Deal with this cover in my business as well and they have covered 99% of customers claims.

I can confirm its worth having, i have a few friends who are AA patrol men and if its good enough for them its got to be good enough for anyone providing you claim isn't over £500 which makes claiming for things on a RRS limited as most claims on a RRS are usually over £500 anyway Whistle but its good for the majority of vehicles, Thumbs Up

Cheap AA Cover

On a similar vein, here's a link for AA breakdown cover.

http://www.quidco.com/user/358202/aa-uk-breakdown/email

It works out at £7 (yes thats correct £7) after cashback!!! I keep telling myself 'It's a toy'
But I've broken quite a lot of toys in my time.....
