Hello
Is a 5 button key compatable with a 2006 RRS, I need a second key and preferably not at dealer prices. £120 plus programming. I have seen brand new 5 button keys for sale for £20, a considerable saving.
Any input would be greatly apreciated.

I don't think the new keys are compatible ,
the key clicks into a slot (they are push button stsrt not turn key) however there is a new key on the Bay
Item number: eBay Item No. 200576104173 for sale.

Bear in mind as far as I'm aware,when a key has been previously programmed it cannot be reprogrammed to work in another car

I didnt think it was compatable.
Ive seen the key on ebay, I am also under the impression once programmed it can not be used again.
I cant believe how may people bid on second hand RRS keys.

Just contacted range rover specialist

Said they would order key from landrover at the same price as landrover £98+Vat but they program the key for free. saving approx £60
Good to find a good specialist, that isnt the same price as the Stealers.
