Have I gone colour blind Looks stunning, but apart from the very first pic it looks black to me. Nothing wrong with black like, but I thought you wanted something different. Or is it like a Lotus Carlton that looks black but is actually green. Top motors all the same |

I think this colour is very dark and in certain light looks black. But in bright sunny weather like where LRDog lives it has a lovely bronze sparkle to it. Lovely. |

^^ Bournville does look black in low light situations that is true. It's a very subtle "non-conformist" kind of color and in sunlight is really beautiful. |

I've had several different vehicles with mudflaps painted and never any issues. Painter just has to make sure prep is correct and flex agent in paint. They said something about baking all the plastic part prior to paint.... not an expert so not sure why they would do that? Perhaps for better adhesion? No issues at all with painting door handles. |

It's a 22" concave mesh made by 360 Forged. This is the wheel in a smaller size on a 997TT. The centers on my wheels are going to be painted high gloss gray similar to the surround on the side vents and front grille.

I may have said it in an earlier post but, while I love black, white, silver or shades of gray, every European car out there these days is one of those colors. Different is good. BTW, thanks guys for all the great comments! |
