Sounds like the E270 I had. That went into limp mode on the way to a stag weekend in Cornwall and wouldn't even go up a hill. Thankfully the few trips I have done down there since have been in the Alfa which has been faultless. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

Sounds like a boost leak causing it to overboost which the ecu then doesnt like.

It is very rare that the supercharger itself fails.

Usually you would be able to find codes, did they check with the right tools that can read all propriety codes from the RR?

Thanks for the input. On the Merc it was the intercooler pump that would overheat and then shut down. I'll see if I can get LR to to a diagnostic. Thanks Avos 2007 RRS Supercharged, Black & Ivory, 22" Overfinch and MY10 rear lights.

Thanks for that. The trip certainly involved lots of +/- and so I think this may be the answer. Will report back later in the week as I am told Truro's LR dealership tends to be stacked out on a Monday dealing with holiday maker vehicles as well as the local LR population.
